Character dress up and PCS Diwali Day

On Friday, the 24th of October, we had the PCS book parade and Diwali day.  We were allowed to be dressed in our national costumes or as book characters. Caleb, was Winnie the Pooh and was the winner from Room 20. Here are some photos with Mrs Stanney, our student teacher.

Poetry Winner during book week

We have a proud winner from Room 20 who took part in the poetry contest held during the book week. She was presented with a book by Miss Reid.  Here's thrilled Lanijane!!!!

Art Room: Rangoli Designs

As part of our festivals and celebrations unit, we are studying about Diwali. During Diwali, the Hindus decorate their frontage with colourful rangoli designs to welcome goddess Laxmi.   Have a look at some photos of us in the artroom. We used pastels.

Basketball skills by Counties Manukau Coaches

The Year 5's are very fortunate to be part of the basketball coaching programme. Skilled coaches from Counties Manukau Sports will be coaching us for the next five weeks. The coaching will be held on every Thursday.

Te Reo Lessons with Miss Lelei
