Rotoroa Island

Rm. 20 had a blast on our Rotoroa Island trip! We learnt so much about conservation and had lots of fun with the hands-on activities prepared by the Auckland Zoo rangers.

Miss Mayall

Rm. 20 was really lucky to have Miss Mayall working with us in Term 4 as our student teacher. Her science background was so helpful in learning all about New Zealand's native species, pests and conservation projects in preparation for our trip to Rotoroa Island. We were very sad to see her go but wish her all the best of luck for her own classroom next year!

Book Character Day

Last week PCS celebrated Book Week, which culminated in a character parade on Friday. Here are some of the awesome costumes Rm. 20 wore - can you work out who we are?

Miss Maletino

Over T1-3 we had Miss Maletino working as a student teacher in our classroom. We really enjoyed her lessons and wish her luck for practicum three! Here we are working on our Friday maths program together.

Wacky Hair Day

During T3, PCS celebrated Wacky Hair Day to raise money for KidsCan. Check out some of the creative creations from Rm. 20 below!

Tessellation

Room 20 has been doing a geometry unit on tessellation. We have been learning about translations, rotations, reflections and rotational symmetry. Check out our attempts at creating shapes that display rotational symmetry.
