Our special guest-The bearded dragon

On Tuesday, one of our students brought in a bearded dragon called Jinx. He is a desert animal from Australia. His diet is meal worms and rabbit flavoured cat food when they are feeling sick. The skin feels scaly like a slithering snake skin.

Here is Miss Lee holding the bearded dragon

The Legend Of Frog Drama

The year fives went to different classes and did some drama for our novel The Legend of Frog. Miss Lee started of with a warm up, where we were pretending to lick an ice-cream and we were washing our face using mime technique. Next we had 3 quotes from the book that we had to act out using mime and not talking. Then we posed like the 3 main characters in the story. Lastly, we did a wind down after drama where we pretended to be ice statues melting down slowly from the hot sun. It was awesome!

Term Two Drama Fun

In term 2, 2015, Room 20 did drama.  First we got into our house groups.  Then Miss Lee called out things to act.  We acted like animals in the big zoo.  Here are some photos for you to laugh at.

Here are the elephants and tigers.

Here is the zoo keeper feeding the frog.

More weird animals.

The lion is going to eat the frog - watch out!

Trip Photos

When room 20 went to the Youth line, we learnt about the World War one and World War two.  Room 20 made medals at the Youth line.  Then we went to the RSA to look at the different medal colours from different countries.  Here are some pictures that some of Room 20's class members took while we were on the trip.  Room 20 really enjoyed that experience and learned so much more.  We will show you some photos!

Papatoetoe Centennial Pools

There are three groups. I was in group one, we were learning how to blow bubbles under water. We also learned how to do the starfish. Last of all we played a game, it was about swimming to get objects from the ground.
