Maui and the sun

Room 20 read the story of Maui and the sun. We then worked in groups to retell the story as a short dance sequence; first with a buddy and then with a group. When working together we had to consider the dance elements we had brainstormed; such as movement, timing, space, size, height, tempo and locomotion.

Our dances have not yet been set to music but check out our work so far from these brave volunteers!
