Room 20's Visit to St Christophers Home

Last Friday Room 20 went for a visit to St Christophers Home.

We read stories to the grandparents, sang the Le Aute Song (Samoan welcome song) and then one of our reading group performed a play for them.

They were really excited to have us and we were excited to entertain them.

The Stream Visit

Last week Rooms 20 and 21 went to the Papatoetoe stream for the water testing trip.  We walked all the way there.  Room 20 was lucky to have parent helpers to help them on that day!
We did four different activities and the most exciting one was with Paul, the fisherman.

We got to touch the slimy, slippery eel!  It was a really great experience!
