Room 20s Assembly

In week eight, Room 20 led the school assembly. We had a great time sharing a story and performing our dance item. At first some of us were a bit nervous but we quickly got into it. Here are a few photos of our assembly.

Race Relations Day

In week eight, we celebrated Race Relations Day! Race Relations Day is when you dress up in your traditional clothing and come to school in them. We enjoyed celebrating our different cultures. We thought Abikash, Rynil and Jasleen looked very smart in their traditional clothes!

Howick Historical village

In week six, we went to the Howick Historical Village! We played with some olden day toys. Then we went to an old school where you had to link your letters in handwriting.  We also made some rag rugs. After that, we watched a documentary about the English people when they arrived in New Zealand!  My favourite part of the trip was when we made the rag rugs.
